Bird Control – The Problem

As man has grown and expanded with more housing, factories and properties so we have taken away the natural habitats of many species of wild birds. As a result many birds have now adapted to our urban environments, living on and amongst our man made structures. Many tend to roost on ledges, projections and roof spaces or wherever they can gain free access!

There are many issues associated with birds roosting in the wrong location:

Unsightly stains to walls, roofs and ledges of buildings
Blocked gutters and other rain-water goods often leading to water ingress as a result
Droppings on pavements and pathways causing slippery hazards when wet
Damage to building materials caused by droppings
A serious health risk is caused by nests and droppings that act as a breeding ground for mites and bacteria

Wire Coils System
Wire Coils are a neat and discreet way of preventing a bird from landing on a gutter or ledge. The system has no pointed features, making it not only humane to birds, but also suitable for use in areas where children may have access.

Sprung Wire System
The Sprung Wire system is an extremely versatile and a totally humane bird deterrent system, which has been used for many years to keep birds from ledges and parapets.
