Timberwise Managing Surveyor puts on his dancing shoes

24 October 2018

Timberwise is delighted to announce we are supporting our Timberwise South Wales Managing Surveyor Andrew Pemberton, and his wife Hayley, as they take to the dance floor as part of the Ultra Ballroom challenge. The 8 weeks training from dancing professionals, ultimately ends with a glitzy black-tie event in Cardiff showcasing their new skills in front of a huge crowd.

In doing so Andrew and Hayley are receiving sponsorship in efforts to raise money in order to fund scientists, doctors and nurses to help beat cancer sooner and bring forward the day when all cancers are cured! This is a fantastic opportunity to support our colleagues in their personal charitable endeavours! Well Done Andrew and Hayley, we look forward to seeing you “strut your stuff” on 24th November 2018.

Not only is it a chance to learn a new skill it’s also a great opportunity to raise money for Cancer Research UK, a charity that is very close to my heart. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous! I’m taking a leap beyond my comfort zone, from hard hats and high vis vests to black tie and sequins
