Health & Safety First
“At Timberwise, health, safety, environmental responsibility, and quality are fundamental to the way we operate across every region of Great Britain. As a nationwide property preservation business, we recognise the importance of delivering our services safely, professionally, and consistently for our clients, employees, subcontractors, and the public.
Our commitment is driven through a proactive HSEQ management approach that focuses on prevention, continual improvement, and operational excellence. We maintain high standards through robust management systems, ongoing monitoring, regular auditing, and strong leadership engagement across all levels of the business.
Every member of our workforce is trained, competent and authorised for the activities they undertake. Our employees receive comprehensive induction training, task-specific instruction, refresher development, and ongoing competency assessments to ensure work is completed safely and to the highest professional standards. We invest heavily in the development of our people so that safety, quality, and customer care remain embedded within our culture.
Given the nature of property preservation works, we actively manage key occupational and operational risks including asbestos awareness, dust exposure, vibration, manual handling, driving, work at height, lone working, and the use of specialist equipment. Through effective planning, supervision, and engagement with our workforce, we strive to reduce risk and protect the health and wellbeing of everyone affected by our activities.
We are committed to continual improvement and operate in alignment with the principles of International Organization for Standardization ISO 45001 and ISO 9001, ensuring our systems and processes evolve alongside industry best practice, legal requirements and client expectations.
Our aim is simple: to provide safe, reliable, and high-quality property preservation services while maintaining the trust and confidence of our clients throughout Great Britain.”

Tool Safety at Timberwise
At Timberwise, the safety of our employees and customers depends on using reliable, well-maintained equipment. We invest in modern tools with advanced dust extraction systems, alongside low-vibration and lower-noise equipment, to help create cleaner and safer working environments.
All tools are subject to strict maintenance procedures, including routine servicing, Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), formal monthly inspections, and daily pre-use checks on site. Any damaged or defective equipment is removed from service immediately and replaced.
We also assess the suitability of equipment for each task to ensure the safest and most effective tools are always used, helping us maintain high health and safety standards across every project.
