The introduction of Awaab’s law (as part of the Social Housing (Regulation) Act means that from October 2025 it is the responsibiliy of social landlords to address damp and mould hazards in properties they are renting out, which present a significant risk of harm to the tenants within fixed timescales.

Tier 1
Our Tier 1 offering includes our standard condensation survey, which involves moisture profiling, hygrometer readings, anemometer testing, and even thermal imagerery. All of this is summarised within a written report, which includes our recommendations, delivered just 48 hours after the survey has been carried out.
Tier 2
Comprising everything within Tier 1, our Tier 2 solution also includes calcium carbide testing on request, as well as destructive testing where it may be required in your property (including skirting board removal). Our Tier 2 survey also includes two weeks data logging which records the air quality in your property. The results are delivered with a written report from a scientific diagnostic system developed by the Property Care Association, including their recommendations based on the data collected from the two weeks data.
