The PCA
Formerly part of the BWPDA (British Wood Preservation Association), the PCA is a trade association that represents the property preservation industry. This includes a range of sectors including damp proofing, structural waterproofing, structural repairs and timber preservation. The PCA takes measures to ensure that all its members provide the best practice and technical guidance.
Which? Trusted Traders
Which? Trusted Traders is an independent organisation, who describe themselves as the UK’s consumer champions. They aren’t influenced by third parties, and all of their judgements are made on the merit and skill of the company in question. They work entirely on the behalf of the consumer to ensure that they are represented, and able to have a clear view of how a company performs. Timberwise have been proud to be a Which? Trusted Trader since January 2016.
TrustMark
TrustMark is the only Government endorsed scheme in the UK that covers home improvement quality in or around a property in the UK. An independent organisation, any business that is registered with TrustMark is thoroughly vetted, and monitored continuously to ensure that they meet TrustMark’s required standards in technical competence, customer service, and trading practices.
CHAS
CHAS is the largest provider of compliance and risk management solutions in the UK. Their Safety Schemes in Procurement scheme is an industry leading standard in health and safety accreditation in procurement, and proves that a company is committed to protecting its employees and the general public from harm.
Constructionline
Constructionline has been working with buyers and suppliers for over 20 years. They ensure that suppliers operate correctly under the health and safety standards that are essential for the construction sector. Constructionline maintains relationships for a range of industries and open up opportunities for businesses to access a wide range of procurement contracts and projects.
Safecontractor
SafeContractor are a group who audit companies based on their ability to meet their necessary requirements around health & safety, environmental, modern slavery, diversity, equality, workplace wellbeing, and financial stability. Their accreditation gives peace of mind that our company is adhering to best practise, and that our future is secure.
Checkatrade
Checkatrade is a leading independent directory of tradespeople in the UK, committed to helping regular people find outstanding tradespeople. Running strict background checks on every trading company before they are allowed to be listed, Checkatrade ensure that user reviews are clear, honest, and available for other customers to read.

Newton Waterproofing
As part of the Newton Specialist Basement Contractor network, Timberwise has undergone specialist training in the design and installation of Newton Waterproofing Systems, ensuring full compliance with BS 8102:2022 and the delivery of reliable, long-term protection for below-ground structures.

RIBA CPD Providers Network
RIBA Chartered Architects must achieve a certain level of Continued Performance Development (CPD) in order to remain a member. Our structural waterproofing CPD Seminar is RIBA approved and therefore contributes towards the requirements that chartered members must meet each year to maintain their competence.
Stallard Kane – Health & Safety – Silver Status
